Classes @ Zorba the Buddha

POTTERY & CERAMIC-SCULPTURE CLASSES

Ceramist, sculptor and artist, Vishwa Chotte shall be conducting Pottery/Ceramic-Sculpture classes at the Village. You can take one, two or three classes in a week, depending upon your convenience. In this flexible option, if you miss a class, you will have an opportunity to make up for the classes without losing money. The details are-

• Teacher- Vishwa Chotte
• Module Structure- 12 classes for Rs. 6,000 or 24 classes for Rs. 12,000
• Classes on- Tuesdays, Saturdays & Sundays
• Module Duration- 4 months from date of commencement
• Timings- 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
• Tools- Basic tools & wheels are provided.
• Materials- Clay, glazing and firings are extra.

PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE- Beginner Level

Photographer, Achal Kumar, winner of ‘National Academy Award’, shall be conducting Photography classes at Zorba the Buddha.

The details are-

• Teacher- Achal Kumar
• Module Structure- 16 classes for Rs. 15,000
• Classes on- Saturdays & Sundays
• Module Duration- Mid-January till Mid-March
• Timings- 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Camera-Participant must have a basic digital camera

PAINTING CLASSES

Painter, Ashok Gulati shall be conducting Painting classes at Zorba the Buddha.

The details are-

• Teacher- Ashok Gulati
• Module Structure- 12 classes for Rs. 6,000
• Classes on- the day needs to be decided
• Module Duration- Mid-January till Mid-April
• Timings- 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

ART & CRAFTS’ COURSE- for children (Above 10)

Artist, Fashion Designer & Potter, Aparna Sukhija, shall be conducting a Crafts’ Course at Zorba the Buddha.

The details are-

• Teacher- Aparna Sukhija
• Module Structure- 12 classes for Rs. 6,000, including materials
• Classes on- Days to be decided with the batch
• Module Duration- 20^th December 2008 till 7^th January 2009
• Timings- 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
• Venue- Zorba the Buddha

Classes include painting classes, candle making, clay modeling, gift wrapping-party decorations, tie & dye, batik.
