Make Life Easy with Assertive Communication

Communicating Assertively
Learn. Practice. Transform. Feel Good.
With Bharat & Savita Wakhlu

Difference-Between-Aggressive-Passive-and-Assertive-Behavior2

Many times, we experience immense frustration, anger or hurt while interacting and dealing with others! We find it easy to blame them for the pain we feel. But the reality is that the locus of control of our emotions and feelings is always with us. How we think, perceive, feel and behave is our responsibility. Nothing outside of us can impact our “inner workings”.

Communicating assertively comprises a set of skills and communication abilities that help us, in influencing the dialogues and conversations we have, in a positive and an active manner. Learning the language of Assertiveness, grasping its elements and practicing its application, helps us see its transformational effects on our relationships and our well-being.

This one-day workshop is focused on achieving the following objectives:

Workshop Objectives:
1. Nurture beliefs/values and attitudes that supports rapport-building
2. Enable (the participants) to stand up for themselves and share their thoughts, feelings and expectations, clearly and with confidence
3. Challenge and enhance the ability of confronting unpleasant situations immediately, and with those we wish to influence
4. Understand the 3 Vs, Verbal, Vocal and Visual aspects of effective communication.

5. Encourage the use of Assertiveness skills and help make them part of the (participant) tool-kit
