Jashan-e-Ishq: embracing sufi methods into everyday living

~Jashn-e-Ishq~
Sufi transmission from the world of Osho

A workshop that will offer potent meditation techniques, weaving the ancient Sufi calling into everyday living. Embracing the flavor of South Asian Sufism, recognized for its syncretic nature, Damini will facilitate the Sufi transmission from the world of Osho.

Sufis use methods like humor, word play, poetry, dance and drama to reach the transcendental heart through Ishq … through ibadat. Their method has ecstasy, but it also has a science. We invite you to explore that special Sufi Science of Ecstasy.

We will play with sounds and silence… we will sing and Dance in delight … and wait for God to happen…

Art of Seeing: if you can write your name, you can draw!

The Art of Seeing
if you can write your name, you can draw!

Drawing makes you see. Really see. Deeply. Inside yourself.  That great big wonderful world outside. Impressions. Details. That sensuous curve. That hard edge.

Use your left hand. Or right hand if your left handed and be amazed at what happens. Draw fast. Draw dead slow. Capture that pose in a few strokes. Lose yourself in a detail..

Meditate. Contemplate. Destress. Get excited. Enter the flow!

Draw. Feel. Think.

Ayurvedic Cooking: find balance of mind & body through a tasty & satisfying diet

Food can fuel our body and mind if we choose nourishment from a space of consciousness rather than as an emotional response to stress or to placate an inner worry. Ayurvedic cooking offers a complete Health and Wellness mantra and focuses on understanding the importance of food and its co-relation with our wellbeing.

This session will help you find balance of mind and body through a tasty and satisfying diet with an emphasis on the cooking style and what to cook in relation to the physical and psychic make up of the human being.

As the Ayurvedic proverb states, “When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.”
