Soul Concert: Improvisational, Meditative Music Sat, 12 Apr

SOUL CONCERT
Improvisational, Meditative Music
Saturday, 12 April

“Welcome to a unique experience. The time you share with us, could bring you easily to a state of “presence”. We love to improvise, to “find” the music in the moment. When the inspiration comes artists feel love, which can’t be described by words but it can be felt. As musicians this is improvisation for us and it is our natural  meditation. Just listen and we will be all  “there”, together celebrating music beyond what we hear.”
~Avi Adir And Davide Swarup

Irene with other dancers will be our special guest for the evening,  who will offer a dance performance in jugalbandi with the musicians.

Davide Swarup is one of the pioneer of the Hang drum-a beautiful melodic instrument invented in Switzerland in 2000. He started to play the Hang in 2005, busking in Amsterdam. He became a music traveller, sharing his music all over the world. In his journey he met few musicians and now he performs solo and in meditation concerts
Avi Adir, Vocalist and multi instrumentalist, from Amsterdam. He plays the Greek Bouzouki and world flutes, like the Indian Bansuri, Japanese Shakuhachi, Egyptian Ney and Armenian Duduk. Avi gives concerts and singing improvisation shamaicworkshops around the world, sharing his unique passionate way to catch the flow of the music that comes to him in the moment with total freedom..
