Harmonizing body,mind and breath with Spiritual Martial Arts
Tai
Chi is an ancient Chinese form of spiritual martial arts that is
practiced for its healing benefits. It is highly meditative and based
upon the coordination of breath with movement. In Tai Chi, it is believed
that our health and well being depend upon ‘Chi’ or universal life
force energy flowing in harmony with ‘Tao’ (the way). Tai Chi helps
remove obstructions, restore balance, rejuvenate the body and prolong
life. Young or old, fit or not, ongoing practice of Tai Chi benefits
everyone.
This 7 day course of two hours each with seasoned Tai Chi guru, Satyakaman
Gupta, will include five different forms of Tai chi, 10 different Chi
Kung energy exercises/standing meditations to harmonize body, mind and
breath, along with 5 universal organ healing sounds to cleanse and
release accumulated negative emotions from internal organs.
Satyakaman Gupta
is a painter, musician, actor, and Tai Chi instructor. For the last 35
years, he has been an Osho disciple practicing intense meditation and
different healing modalities. His studies of Hinduism, Sufism, Tantra,
Zen, and his work as an artist has given him tools, insights, and methods to live a life of creativity and passion.
