Singing has a healing power. It creates harmony, thereby restoring the disrupted balance of the body and soul. If you sing, you’re in wholeness, in the blessed palms of the divine. The soul is happy and the spirit expands. The constraints, which were built by the mind, crumble in an instant.
This workshop will allow you to express and rest in your true self, through the medium of sounds and chants. The chanting will clean and open all seven of your energy centers. Here, you can connect to the beautiful cosmic world, where there is no past, no future, only the present moment. You will take part in the divine creation of songs and in the magic that is honest and pure. So, whether you sing in front of a crowd or perform in front of a mirror, you are welcome here to delve further.
The instruments that Istvan plays, like, the Indian sarod, the tampura, the Chinese magic water pot and the Tibetan singing bowls purify, create balance and heal the body. The sounds which are created stimulate the soul, evoking many physiological effects.
About Istvan:
Istvan started learning music as a young boy, and he has kept doing so to this day. He studied singing and playing music from nature and first from his family and then from Indian and Tibetian Masters. In 1990 he became the disciple of the renowned sarod maestro Smt. Sharan Rani in New Delhi, from whom he learned complex spiritual musical art (table, vocals and sarod), and who got him acquainted with the Eastern way of life and philosophy. Istvan has taught and participated in a number of international concerts, including the World Music Festival in Delhi. He tours with his wordwide unique chanting voice and healing music and had full house concerts in India, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and all over the world, from Singapore to Mexico as well as he had lot of workshop and teach his singing techniques.
