A Connoisseur Millet Cooking workshop


This cooking workshop is for people who are looking to incorporate healthy ingredients in their diet, offering a variety of most nutritious recipes that are easy to prepare. It's also an attempt to educate people about the link between farmers, farm-communities, ancient food-production practices and the present day food that we eat.


Facilitator's Bio


Himanshu Kapoor is a nutritionist, a mother & a housewife, besides being an entrepreneur & a Health Food consultant. She is a huge (& often preachy) proponent of the 'eating organic, local & seasonal' movement. She focuses on whole natural-foods including whole-grains, whole-grain flours and fresh produce from organic farms. Her recipes are often simple to prepare, using just a few ingredients. 

Himanshu emphasizes on active participation and likes you to cook before sitting down to enjoy the culinary delights you have made. It is this in between journey of creating food she makes so enjoyable. With easy preparation & the ingredients that come from the Farmers Market, finally all this chore of Cooking Natural & Healthy does not seem so intimidating!
