Shamanic Sweat Lodge
Sweat lodge is one of the most sacred ceremonies, not only for Native American, but for different indigenous people around the world. This beautiful tradition of mind, body, and spirit purification helps us to reconnect with Mother Earth.
The sweat lodge will be a small
dome-shaped hut made with natural materials. We will heat a few sacred stones
to heat up the lodge to create a sauna. The ceremony will be divided in four
rounds, each of them dedicated to a different power, wind or spirit. In each
round we pray for our body, mind, heart and soul.
During each
ceremony, there will be songs backed by the shamanic drum that represents the
heart beat. The Sweat Lodge is considered the womb of the earth, and we enter
it to die and be reborn. It's a sacred space where we pray for ourselves, our
family, and all the beings in the world.
