First & Second Level

Reiki First Level: One-day workshop (6 hours total)

This first level Reiki class is focused on introducing Usui Reiki and its use in self-healing and helping others. In this class, we discuss what Reiki is, the history of Reiki, and we introduce the Reiki Precepts. We also talk about the many uses for Reiki for mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth and healing.

After receiving a First Degree Reiki attunement, students will be able to practice Reiki on themselves or others using the techniques taught in the class. Reiki self-treatments, chair sessions, and full Reiki sessions with a treatment table will all be taught in the class and each student will give and receive at least one full Reiki session on a treatment table.

The course includes:

• The origins of Reiki and how it works.

• Affirmations, principles, ethics and precepts.

• How to sense, feel and see energy.

• How energy heals people, pets/animals and plants.

• How our intention is integrated into Reiki.

• How to protect yourself from negative energies

• The 1st Degree Reiki Attunement

• Energy enhances exercises,

• Aura cleaning techniques,

• Meditation,

• Chakra’s and energy bodies

• Traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho hand positions for self-healing.

Reiki second level: One-day workshop (6 hours total)

The second level of Reiki is focused on learning three of the traditional Japanese symbols for healing and sending Reiki from a distance. We will build from the teachings of the First Degree &discuss ancient methods for clearing unwanted habits, emotional wounds, and negativity in order to empower personal goals and manifest permanent change. Attunements will be given for each of the three symbols. Students will discuss and practice using the three symbols in several situations, including in Reiki sessions. Each student will give and receive at least one full Reiki session using the symbols from Second Degree in class.

The course includes:

• Receiving a Reiki treatment with the symbols included
• 2nd Degree symbols and use (Traditional and Western symbols)
• Scanning and beaming in a treatment
• 2nd Degree Reiki attunement
• Adding the symbols into a treatment
• Giving treatments to another student (in a chair and on a Reiki table)
• Distant healing - various techniques and practice
• Using Reiki to accomplish goals and heal unwanted habits
• Scanning and energy block removal
• Using Reiki on other living things (plants, animals, etc.)
• Using Reiki in other areas of your daily life (job environment, events, meetings, in the home, leisure activities)

v  The Workshop is a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice. A manual will be provided for each student.

   Students will receive a certificate honoring their work in the workshop.
