In Search of Wild Woman

Reclaim your natural, free self

In the workshop the word wild means ‘a natural life’.It is to reunite the woman with her kinship with the wild feminine side, a relationship which may have been lost from neglect, domestication, surrounding culture, or no longer understood. The workshop is about women and their stories inspired by Dr Nikola Pinkola Estes Es’s remarkable book ‘Women who run with the wolves’. It’s about dancing, playfulness, and transporting oneself through stories to reclaim the lost freedom.

We will tell stories and share personal narratives to explore ourselves. Ancient folk tales, fairy tales, excerpts from Women who run with the Wolves, movement, mime and other avenues of expression would be used. Through this we will try and enter a world of the wild spirit where integrity, balance, belonging are celebration and re – discovered.
