Problems of the present often have their roots in the past. When healing of the past memories take place, problems of the present cease to exist. Through Past Life Regression, Shoheli will take us into the deep recesses of our subconscious to relive and release all the blockages and traumas we hold inside. Complete healing will take place at all levels of body, mind, intellect and spirit.

What we will do:

• Recognition of present issues
• Letting go of traumatic memories from the past
• Healing of past & present
• Understanding of the future
• Exercises on extra-sensory-perceptions (ESPs) like telepathy, astral-travel, aura reading, etc.

Through this workshop we can remove blockages, heal diseases and cure health problems that do not respond to conventional therapies. We can improve interpersonal relationships, get rid of phobias, release recurring patterns and dreams.

Origami Workshop

Origami Workshop
Sat, 13 June
09:30 AM- 01:30 PM

poster (2)

You can do it at home, you can do it at work. You can do it on the train, you can do it on the bus. We are talking about Origamy of course! (What were you thinking?) Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into recognisable or functional. The goal is to transform paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. The small number of basic origami folds can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs.

A form of communication without language, Origami is a creative art and also a therapy.. a way to relax, to have fun, to let the day’s tension melt away. It engenders a patience that creates pride in one's work, the ability to focus energy, and increases self-esteem. All you need is your hands, a piece of paper, and a flat surface to fold on. Easy.

About Himanshu:

Himanshu has been doing Origami for the last 16 years. He has worked for various brands and magazines like Fortune, The Man and more. He has also created short films in Origami and designed paper dresses for commercials. He has worked in a production house as an origami stopmotion animator, put up his exhibition with origami oritai (origami club) at Japan Foundation and worked with NDTV for designing their show "Gali gali sim sim". He has also designed for prominent figures like the Jindals and designed origami windows for malls in Delhi and Bombay and also worked with hotels like Leela Palace and designed stage shows.

Self Love and Body Self : Creative Movement Therapy

Self Love and Body Self
Creative Movement Therapy

Self Love and Body Self

Our body is our home. Due to our conditionings, thought process and the lack of body awareness, we hold many judgements about our own body. We need to learn how to love our body, how to feel, sense and establish a dialogue with it. This is where Creative Movement Therapy (CMT) comes in. It is the use of dance and creative movement for physical, emotional and mental well-being.

In this workshop we will work with somatic practices, movement expression, art and dance to connect to our body. This in turn will bring awareness, expression, mind-body synchrony, confidence and emotional well-being. Through these processes we will come to the realisation that being in love with ourselves is our natural state of being.. it is simple, enjoyable and motivating.

The Road to Shambhala : A Dance Workshop with Johannes Boenig

Road to Shambala
A Limon-based Dance Workshop

Limon based Dance
This workshop is open for professional dancers and amateurs with a good base in ballet and contemporary (western) dance. Johannes Bönig will teach a Limon-based class which will be followed by rehearsal for a dance performance. Starting out with an elaborate centering exercise, we will pass on to a modern barre which incorporates ballet leg work, as well as, modern upper body movements. In the center, we will be moving though space in adagios, fast dance variations and jumps.

The second part of the day will be devoted to rehearsal for creating a piece for performance. We will work on a short choreography 'The Road to Shambhala'. Shambhala is the name of a mythical kingdom in Tibetan Buddhism. One could understand it as one's ultimate, personal key to happiness and/or spiritual realisation. The road to this kingdom nonetheless is paved with many controversial experiences. Here the participating dancers will have a chance to contribute with their own vision on what may happen to them if they took up the journey to Shambala. We will then perform this piece at Zorba the Buddha.

The Enneagram of Liberation

The Enneagram of Liberation
with Shivam Satyam
*Personal Sessions available on request

Know your Ego-Structure, Know your Chief Characteristic, Know and Transcend!

The Enneagram is a spiritual map that tells us that the limitless manifests itself through the ego; that the way to liberation goes through imprisonment. It is as if we have all been given the task of an Alchemist – to turn the base metal of ego into radiant truth; to transform melancholy, anger, fear, hysteria, neediness and doubt into awareness, love and joy.

The enneagram shows us the mirror, it makes us aware of our primary limitation. And what is most important – it shows us a way out of it. It presents to us the structure of our ego in all its details, such that we can see and transcend it. The enneagram does not tell us who we are, it rather presents before us the obstacles that prevent us from discovering our true nature. It does not give us health, it rather diagnoses our disease, and prescribes us the right medicine.

The workshop would include:

-Determining each participant’s personality type through detailed tests and questionaires.
-Understanding the ego-structure and ego-fixation of each enneagram type.
-Acting out the ego structure through role play.
-Tools and affirmations to transcend the ego fixation.
-Meditations and de-hypnosis to reprogram belief systems on a cellular level.

Sufi: The Path of the Heart

sufi poster 2

Sufi is a Mystic path, and the essence that is at the heart of all religious spirits. It is the ancient wisdom of the heart, and the path of love born from that wisdom. It's finding the true nature and realization. This group in a meditative process using different methods, like rhythm, breath, music, dance, voice, sound,  poetry, to enter a state of emptiness.
"Zikhr"  (Remembrance), an essential Sufi method, will bring us in touch with different layers of our being. Its waves will deepen and expand the different qualities of human consciousness and take us to the silent lake of our being. Whirling symbolizes and represents man's unity with the cosmos; is a movement where we dissolve ourselves with a world that cannot be understood with our mind, it has to be felt with the heart.

This gathering is a process of emptying  ourselves,  a process,  an atmosphere where love and wildness flower into meditation. We will also explore the beauty of Sufi poetry and music. This Sufi group will be a deep immersion into our inner world,  an exploration of the love and wisdom we all carry in our being.  A Remembrance of the joyful song, and luminous silence, of existence.

“By knowing the mysteries of our own heart,  we begin to resonate with the mysteries of existence”.

***

“This is love.
To fly towards a secret sky,
To cause a hundred veils to fall each moment.
First, to let go of live,
In the end, to take a step without feet.
To regard this world as invisible,
And to disregard what appears to be the self.
Heart, I said, what a gift it has been
To enter this circle of lovers.
To see beyond seeing itself,
To reach and feel within the breast.”

-RUMI

videha

Videha - Osho disciple since 1980. Initiated into the Mevlevi Sufi Order of Konya ( “The Whirling Dervishes” ), Videha integrates the Sufi Path into Osho’s vision and love.  For years as a Zazen practitioner, he has traveled and trained in Mongolia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Central Asia, Korea, Tibet, where he received many initiations.  He is leading groups, seminars, camps and meditation retreats all over the world since more then 28 years, uniting the path of love and the path of meditation. “All the work is inspired by Osho’s teachings, my Master, and an endless source of compassion and wisdom, an inexhaustible mine of countless Dharma teaching treasures”.

Tibetan Singing Bowls Meditation with Lifang Bruyere

Tibetan Singing Bowls Meditation

Singing bowls have been used by ancient sages and healers in their meditation practices. Their vibrations resonate with the 7 chakras and activate our awareness. The different layers of the singing bowls have a unique tonal quality to take our mind into a deep meditative state.

The sound of the bowls helps to soothe pain, stress, anxiety and to open our body to become receptive to healing. The music emanating from the bowls also helps in balancing the five elements and assists us in our healing process/inner journey.

Lifang Bruyere has trained from a young age for Taiwanese style Shiatsu massage and Thai massage in Taiwan and Thailand, and over the years has created her own style, combining the various techniques she has learned in her wanderings. She lives and practices in Paris, and would be in Zorba the Buddha from 7th till 15th May.

Dadi Ma Ke Nuskhe: Household Secrets from the World of Ayurveda!

Dadi Ma Ke Nuskhe!
dadi ke nuskhe 2

Ayurveda, which means "science of life" in Sanskrit, is based on the premise that everything in the universe, including the human body, is comprised of five basic elements: earth, wind, fire, water and space. We are born with a unique composition forming three prakarti’s -- vatapitta and kapha -- that determine our physical and psychological makeup like whether we are fat or skinny, slow or quick moving, easy going or anxious. It also determines what type of diet, exercise and treatment we need to prevent illness.

Dadi Ma ke nuskhe uses this knowledge to prepare simple home remedies which are very effective in relieving symptoms, and preventing further development of a disorder. These are simple and have no side effects, no chemicals,  are not expensive plus have the ability to cure. These nuskhas provide the necessary alkaloids, essential oils, enzymes, trace elements and minerals to the body which are assimilated only in the quantity needed by the human body.
