You can do it at home, you can do it at work. You can do it on the train, you can do it on the bus. We are talking about Origamy of course! (What were you thinking?) Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into recognisable or functional. The goal is to transform paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. The small number of basic origami folds can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs.
A form of communication without language, Origami is a creative art and also a therapy.. a way to relax, to have fun, to let the day’s tension melt away. It engenders a patience that creates pride in one's work, the ability to focus energy, and increases self-esteem. All you need is your hands, a piece of paper, and a flat surface to fold on. Easy.
