Hidden Spaces: Dance Performance with Live Music

Hidden Spaces Performance
Presented by Delhi Dance Theater and Friends
With live music composed and performed by PULSEnsemble

Saturday, May 16th
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Delhi Dance Theatre & Friends returns to Zorba the Buddha for their summer collaborative performance, Hidden Spaces. This year’s program features a mixed bill of contemporary dance, physical theatre, and kathak from an array of internationally acclaimed artists. Soloists present their own original dance works and members come together to premiere a contemporary ensemble piece lead by Brooklyn-based Leah Raphael Curtis of Delhi Dance Theater. All music accompaniments are composed and performed live by members of Delhi’s PULSEnsemble who will also provide musical interludes throughout the program.

Delhi Dance Theater (DDT) is a collaborative company that unites artists from different disciplines to create work in dance, music and film for international performance.  DDT draws inspiration from Indian and Western classical dance, creating process oriented art in both music and dance as well as explorations in film to generate an aesthetic that is clean, colorful and evolving. DDT performs annually in New York City and India.  Delhidancetheater.com
