Through Colours, Symbols, Metaphors
Through Colours, Symbols, Metaphors
& Personifications
With Aparajita Barai
With Aparajita Barai
The deities were conceptualized in a visual language that is loaded with symbols, metaphors, colours and personifications. We will talk, draw, think and discuss to decode the meanings that have been lost over time.
Every god and goddess is representation of an entity that we can invoke within us if understood, experienced and explored in our lives. We will realize why these abstract qualities of strength, wisdom or abundance were given human forms like Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi and certain elements were associated.
Through this presentation and workshop we will explore ourselves and make the deities part of our own self-exploration beyond the ceremonial rituals in a meditative way.
