TERRACOTTA MURAL WORKSHOP

Unbaked clay provides a participant innumerable possibilities. In the Terracotta Mural workshop we will create compositions onto the clay slab with different spontaneous techniques. We will learn to translate our thoughts and imagination into a piece of art.
The process is an interesting engagement which allows us to work with our own unique expression!

Facilitator's Bio:
Rahul has
done his masters in fine Arts from Kala Bhawan, Visva Bharati
University, Santiniketan. He has received the Junior Fellowship by the
Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India (2013-2015). He also has to his
credit the merit scholarships from - the Krishna Kirti Foundation,
Hyderabad and Kala Bhawan, Visva Bharti University. He recently got much
recognition for his Solo Show & co-ordination of workshop
‘Mysterious Terracotta’ with eminent women artists, at NIV Art Centre.
Workshop Duration- 2 days
Timing - 10 AM to 5 PM
Date - Sat & Sun, 1 & 2 March 2014
*Each participant will be provided with a readymade clay tile (size 18 inch x 18 inch)*
**The teachers will be responsible for preserving the art work and baking it**
