An Evening of Rajasthani Music,Dance,Puppetry
You will be welcomed by the beautiful sound of a Rajasthani folk song that will fuse various timeless sounds of Sufi, Punjabi, Bihari and Bhojpuri.
The House of Puppet comprises of a collection of talented Rajasthani artists. It has been created by and for the Kathputli slum inhabitants, to help them in protecting and promoting their artistic traditional heritage.
The rustic voices of the artists along with the use of folk musical instruments like the Khartal, Dhol, Dholak and Harmonium will certainly make us all a part of their transcending sound. We will further witness different kinds of arts including Puppet show, Juggling, Acrobat and the famous Bhavai dance. This 1-hour show of music, dance and puppetry will definitely introduce us to the colorful sensibilities and the rich, boastful culture of Rajasthan
You are welcome to sing and dance along with the performance.
