Pictorial Calligraphy
..hands on experience of the creative art form

Sunday, 16 June

Calligraphy is essentially an art of beautiful writing. All religious scripts are its best examples. However it has developed into a full-fledged contemporary creative art form.

We'll get a taste of Calligraphy through hands on experience using script as a raw material to create art. Discovering the smell and touch of materials, colourful beauty of inks/paints, using Qalams/pens in contact with paper is already a fulfilling journey. We will enhance the capacity to concentrate and visualise beyond the seen. It is something that can be enjoyed by all, as everyone is endowed with a creative potential that needs to be released.
