Facilitator Bio:
Debarchan Rout is trained in western and contemporary styles of painting, yet he strives to enich
his universe with diverse influences. He has done his BFA from Utkal
University of Culture, Bhubaneswar where he received Dhauli College
Annual Award consecutively from 1999-2004. Debarchan has also received
Research Grant Scholarship from Lalit Kala Akademi. He got recognition
for his Solo Exhibition ‘The Monsoon Chapter 6’ at Alliance Francaise, New Delhi in 2011.
