Full Moon Sufi Night: Zikhr, Ishq & Ibadat

Full Moon Sufi Night
Prayer, Dance, Stories, Meditation and Ceremony

The dark monsoon clouds hover in the sky. The moon is full. Radiant. But difficult to sight. The clouds pass by. Give a hint of its brilliance. The longing only gets deeper. This full moon night of the month of Ashaad, India celebrates as Gurupoornima. The moon is the master. The clouds, life. And the love? Eternal.

Damini will give this night of longing the flavor of Ishq, of Ibadat. The ceremony will be held in candlelights. We will invoke the Sufis. Listen to the stories told by them. There will be the songs of longing, we will dance to. This two-hour night celebration will be of prayers, dance and stories, dedicated to all the Masters, all the Seekers … that have been, that will be, ever.
