Dance of a Happy Heart
Tribal Tantra Dance is a special ceremonial celebration. Damini will be weaving the energetic sutras of Tantra with some ecstatic tribal dancing. We will be dancing as individuals - free flowing, and also as a group – organized and patterned. For in life both are needed... to be wild & free, and to be submitting to a larger will. Movement and dance signal our body-mind to break patterns, and to form fresh possibilities of spontaneous responses. This two-hour celebration will be in five stages- welcome dance, initiation dance, ceremonial dance: dance of a happy heart, storytelling and silence.
This dance is not a performance as we will be dancing for our own selves. There will be no observers, only celebrants. No prior training is needed. If you can shake a leg - literally - come! Wear loose clothes, comfortable ones, so that you can jump, roll and go wild. We will be dancing bare feet, connecting to the ground below. All the energy of dance will be used for meditative invocation and silence. Dance so totally that all that remains, is just a happy heart, beating silently with all-that-is.
Seats are limited as we need lots of dancing space. So please book soon!

*Men should carry black, brown or grey coloured scarfs/stoles. Women should get red, pink, orange or yellow scarf/stoles/dupattas.
