VOICE - Learn how to sing with simple techniques of Indian classical vocal music.
BODY - Learn simple asanas of yoga to stay in one position for long time and corrective breathing exercises.
MIND - Learn to relax the mind through singing exercises and meditation therapies.
SOUL - Enrichment the soul through the entire process. 
 
Relax all the senses and go back to learning something new and easy to use in your daily life!  No requirement of any prior singing experience.

In the morning, we will begin by doing Yoga, which will include body stretching and flexing leg muscles, followed by a short meditation. Thereafter, we will have a session for the right respiration and singing exercises from the Indian classing vocal technique. We will be learning Alaap, Bandish and Taan followed by singing on Raaga. The theory of different Indian raagas based on time of the day and seasons of the year; on moods and emotions will also be explored.  In this workshop you will also learn Mantras based on Raaga with empowering words in ancient sanskrit language from Vedic scriptures.

Originally from Calcutta, Tritha is a child prodigy in music. She began studying Indian classical music at 5 years old in the Agra, Patiala and Bishnupur gharana and has never stopped. She is now mastering the intricacies and techniques of Indian classical singing, thanks to the tutelage of her reputed worldwide master, guru Pandit Santanu Bandhyopadyay. After a career on stage in Bollywood music, she decided in 2010 to devote herself to her own music and compositions. Her unique style, mixing Indian classical and psychedelic punk-rock rhythms has seduced critics and audiences alike in India as well as in Europe. Tritha was also featured in BBC and in the most popular music show TRACKS on TV channel Arte. French TV show of Canal Plus, Les Nouveau Explorateurs, featured Tritha as a young Indian classical musician making unique contemporary styles. Her album “PaGli” has released on Sony Music in June 2014. Her band Tritha Electric is now representing India in various world music festivals across the globe.   She also conducts music workshops in different parts of the world.
