Under the Banyan Tree Project
This project is an initiative taken by two like-minded musicians Meet and
Sriparna to revive the concept of “music on streets” and to uplift its
demeaned reputation.
We believe in creating opportunities to perform, on a street amidst hustle and
bustle of a road, a market place, in a park, in a lawn of a house, a tomb, a
roof top area or any such place that attracts us and makes us sing and play. We
aim not to limit ourselves to any genre. We like to use various instruments and
sounds while performing.
Its gives us a lot of pleasure and encouragement when people engrossed in their
routine take out few moments to listen to us and feel relaxed and happy, and
appreciate our initiative.
