Osho White Robe Gatherings are a combination of dance, celebration and silence, a unique opportunity to experiment the awareness without effort, the essence of meditation.
"That which cannot be said has to be experienced. This is a great experience of getting into the inner space. Something is experienced in this gathering which no one has been able to define. It’s the peak of all day of work, meditation or groups." – This is what Osho had to say about the White Robe Gatherings.
The gathering starts with 20 minutes of high energy celebration where everybody is invited to participate and dance with totality. The more totally we dance, the more easily we will be able to sit silently afterwards. The period of dancing reaches its climax with three shouts of “Osho.” This is a sound without meaning. It is simply using sound to reach the soundless silence. This is followed by silent sitting, which begins with intermittent Indian music up until three drumbeats. After three drumbeats, Osho Video Discourse starts, during which we sit silently and just absord Osho.
Please wear a plain white robe/plain white clothes. Come freshly showered, with no perfume.
