Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique, based on the concept of life-energy which flows through "meridians" in the body. The meridians begin at your fingertips, connect to your brain, and then connect to an organ associated with a certain meridian. When one of these meridians is blocked or out of balance, illness can occur. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupressure points in the body with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.
Using the power and sensitivity of the hand, Acupressure Therapy is effective in the relief of ailments such as, back pain, headache, joint pain, obesity, spondylitis, PCOD, and is ideal for boosting the immune system. Acupressure releases tension, increases circulation, reduces pain, and leads to vibrant health. It will also stimulate the energy flow in the body, as it is great for blood circulation, making you feel energized and active in your daily routine.

About the Facilitators
Taruna was born and brought up in Delhi, in a yogic family. At a tender age, she started helping her mother who runs a renowned Naturopathy centre in Delhi and gained insight into the world of Naturppathy, Yoga and Acupressure, and later went on to train in them. Apart from being a Reiki grandmaster, having taught Reiki to many in Delhi, she has a long clientele in Delhi/NCR.
